Here at CSS we manufacture sterile & non-sterile neurosurgical patties for absorption of blood and exudates in neurosurgery.
CSS Neurosurgical Patties are manufactured from a non woven material & provide excellent absorption whilst minimising residual fibres at the operating site.
 

Their softness & conformability make them ideal for use in Neurosurgery, ENT, Orthopaedic & Opthalmic surgery.

Available in a wide range of sizes with surgical quality, machine sewn, secured tails & radio opaque filaments as standard.

Neurosurgical patties are manufactured in a controlled environment designed specifically to meet the highest standards of production.

All critical operations are completed by fully trained staff within a clean room originally built, operated & maintained to BS5295 (1989) class K.
Monitoring is now to BS EN ISO 14644-1:2015 and Class 8 in accordance with BS EN ISO 14644-1.

Double wrapped in a see-through, easy to open, peelable pouch, CSS Neurosurgical Patties are supplied sterile (sterilised by gamma irradiation), each with surgical quality thread, machine sewn, secured tails.
 

CSS patties are supplied with an opaque x-ray line as standard.  These soft & highly absorbing patties are presented in boxes of 200 or 100, dependant on pattie size, starting at 6 x 6mm up to 95 x 95mm.  CSS patties can be supplied in any configuration to special order including non-sterile, pouches of 5, wrapped on count cards & strips 75 x 150mm & 90 x 300mm (packs of 20).
